Pianist

Sindre Myrbostad (født i Trondheim 1971) er oppvokst i Bodø og har bakgrunn fra jazz, rock og klassisk musikk. Han studerte først fire år ved Høgskolen i Tromsø hos klaverprofessor Tori Stødle. Etter et år i Århus ved det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium, ble han tatt opp i klaverklassen til Professor Marco Antonio de Almeide ved Hochschule für Musikk und Darstellende Kunst i Hamburg. Han fortsatte deretter hos professor Volker Banfield hvor han avla sin Diplomeksamen i 2004. Samme år ble han ansatt som distriktsmusiker i Sortland i klavertrioen Ensemble Blå. Myrbostad spiller konserter både som solist og kammermusiker og har gitt konserter i Norge, Russland, Danmark og Tyskland.

Siden 2010 har han skrevet egne låter og kom med platen Fritt Fall i 2022.

Sindre Myrbostad (born in Trondheim in 1971) grew up in Bodø and has a varied musical background ranging from jazz, rock, and classical music.  For the first four years he studied at Tromsø University College under the supervision of Professor Tori Stødle. Having studied for one year at The Royal Danish Music Conservatory in Århus, he was admitted to the piano class of Professor Marco Antonio de Almeide at The High School for Music and Performing Arts in Hamburg. He then continued studies with Professor Volker Banfield completing his diploma exam in 2004. The same year he was employed as a district musician in Sortland in the piano trio “The Blue Ensemble”. Myrbostad plays concerts both as a soloist and as a chamber musician giving concerts in Norway, Russia, Denmark and Germany.

Since 2010 he writes his own music and released the album Fritt Fall (Free Falling) in 2022.
